I'm longing for hot summer days

In my mind when I get dress in Mauritius I never take into account the possibility of it being cold outside…maybe cos I live in one of the hottest part of the country or the mere fact that i live on an island…but I always think that it’s supposed to be hot all year round. Call me crazy… but dressing up should be more about moods and state of mind than weather forecast.

That's the outfit that I wore for our occasional girls night out last night. Which we should definitely do more often according to me. Went diner at Indra in Domaine Les Pailles. All the items I'm wearing are purchases from my last trip to China & Hong Kong.

Sorry for the lack of post lately, been out of the country in search of the newest fashion and inspiration. Hopefully u guys will love it. Not being able to shop in Mauritius do frustrate me from time to time. But i do find some comfort in knowing that fashionable stuffs are becoming more and more accessible to Mauritians.

Why I love Hong Kong so much

1. Food - You can get basically anything ur heart desires, from Japanese to Indian to street snacks.


2. Shopping - Zara, H&M, Body Shop, MAC... need i say more?


3. SASA - cheapest branded cosmetics in Asia...At first I actually thought the cosmetics and perfumes were fakes cos it was cheaper than Duty Free.


4. Dim Sum & High Tea - I love myself a good Dim Sum and there's a dim sum place in every corner of the street. Plus since the British used to live in HK before, a lot of hotels serve afternoon tea.



5. Nice Chinese Person - Hong Kong people will say sorry and thank you, won't steal ur cabs and won't spit.

6. Cabs - There's cabs everywhere...no need to wait long hours and to fight over cabs.

Love this shoulder pad Dress.
I find it sassy and sexy. So ladies, if you want to go to a party and stand out...this is the perfect dress. It's also available in Black. I personally prefer the grey though.
